Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
